One of the best resources I’ve found has been Stuart Lichtman’s book “How to get lots of money for anything fast“.

In this book Stuart shares a technique which he calls Cybnernetic Transposition. Stuart Lichtman spent over 25 years developing this strategy to help people achieve the seemingly impossible. He studied at MIT in engineering, psychology, and artificial intelligence, masters work in applied psychology, and doctoral work in organisation development and cross cultural business.

The cybernetic transposition technique is a way to integrate parts of yourself so as to remove the conflicting parts of your brain. This is why so many people struggle achieving goals they set for themselves. Parts of themselves compete against the new goal because it serves another purpose. For example, when trying to lose weight, you might set a goal to eat less. But a conflicting part of yourself doesn’t want to give up fatty food. Your self image competes for control and if you don’t see yourself as a slim, fit person, you will struggle to lose any weight.
